Mission Statement
The Bridge Alliance is a registered non profit organization whose primary goal is to connect the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied (GLBTA) community in Aroostook, Hancock, Washington, Piscataquis, and Penobscot counties accomplishing the following:
- To facilitate the development of a GLBTA community which promotes and embraces diversity.
- To promote and encourage the understanding that the GLBTA community plays an important role in Maine’s cultural, social and economic landscape..
- To give back to the GLBTA community through charitable donations or in-kind services.
- To produce annual events that will assemble the GLBTA community in Northern Maine.
